We are currently recruiting for a new Church Administrator.
Bromley Baptist Church is a family church in the heart of Bromley town centre that seeks to love God, love one another and love our community and the wider world.
We are currently looking for a new Church Administrator. We are looking for someone who will be the first point of contact for most members and enquirers. They will provide administration services to ensure that the church operates efficiently, serves our members and guests well and is proactive in
spreading the love of Jesus Christ in our church and community. We currently have a membership roll of about 140 and an active and committed volunteer community within the church.
We are passionate about developing an active, missional church family with deep relational networks and confidence to share the good news of Jesus in our community.
Our church is normally led by one or two ministers and a group of elected deacons. This Church Leadership Team (CLT) are collectively the trustees of the church. The trustees have overall responsibility for the management of the church as a registered charity.
Additionally, we employ a Finance Assistant and a Caretaker (both part time). The church is currently in an interregnum period as it seeks new ministers.
Our Church Administrator will be the first point of contact for most members and enquirers. Role: Church Administrator
Contract: 25 hours per week (probably 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday/potentially full time)
Location: On site at Bromley Baptist Church, Park Road Bromley
Salary: £25,000–£30,000 (full time equivalent/pro rata)
